Topics covered include a discussion of the relational database model, advanced treatment of the REA data modelling view of businesses, REA design and implementation issues, and the role of REA and enterprise systems in e-business. Other topics include client-server systems, introduction to object oriented technologies, and a focus on databases and the internet. Students will have hands-on usage of the J D Edwards OneWorld package as part of their practical work. |
