Subject Description

Topics include joint life functions; forms and causes of selection; population projections; risk classification; guarantees and options under life insurance contracts; and multiple decrement and service tables.

Assessment

A 2-hour end-of-semester examination (80%) and up to three assignments totalling not more than 3000 words (20%).
