Subject Description | On completion of this subject students should have an understanding of the principles and policies relating to environmental management systems for sustainable land use; including the legal and institutional processes, and the roles and relationships of land use planning, management plans and codes of practice. Covered in the subject:
The second-half of the subject on policy will comprise lectures by visiting experts and reading assignments on policy. |
Assessment | A three-hour written examination (50%) and two practical reports each up to 1500 (25% each). |
