Subject Description | This subject examines the phenomenon of bi-/multilingualism, especially in the Australian context. It enables students to understand the choices made by speakers, the role of language contact in language change, and how languages are processed. It also introduces the political significance of languages. |
Assessment | A 3000-word essay and a class paper for 3rd year, a 3000-word essay and two class papers for 4th year. |
