Subject Description | This subject considers the significance of a range of sporting events and sporting figures to explore issues of class, race, gender and ethnicity in the formation of an Australian sporting tradition and its place in a global context. On completion of this subject students will be able to appreciate the contribution that sport makes to the economic, social and cultural life of the nation. |
Assessment | Class participation, and written work totalling 4000 words. |
