Subject Description | This subject introduces systems of social division in contemporary China. The subject will examine some of the ways in which Chinese society is classified and analysed. Discussion will be based on original Chinese literary and scholarly sources in English translation, and academic scholarship produced outside China. |
Assessment | Tutorial participation and written work totalling 4000 words. |
