Subject Description

In this subject students should develop their ability to read, discuss and write in Indonesian about social, political, cultural and historical phenomena in Indonesia and the world. Oral and colloquial language will be made more familiar and discussion on grammar will be conducted at an advanced level.

Assessment

Written work totalling 1500 words for 3rd year, 2500 words for 4th year and masters students, a 2-hour examination and a 10-minute oral test. Third-year students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination.
