Subject Description | In this subject emphasis is placed on more sophisticated spoken and written Indonesian and on consolidating and expanding knowledge of Indonesian culture. The subject is designed around topics that enable students to develop through discussion a better understanding of Indonesian society, and to be articulate on these topics in Indonesian. Students should be able to hold simple conversations in Indonesian, read simple texts with the help of a dictionary, and write simple essays in Indonesian. |
Assessment | Written work totalling 1000 words, a 10-minute aural/oral test and a 2-hour examination. Students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination. |
