Subject Description | This subject involves the study of problems and issues within a field of art history. It is intended that the subject assist students in broadening their understanding of art historical periods and areas of study by taking advantage of courses and/or lectures offered in the school, or through intensive one-off courses offered by visitors. Students should contact the School before enrolling in this subject. Areas of study may vary from year to year. In 2003 they may include: Semester 1 - Asian art, Australian art, baroque art, Aboriginal art; Semester 2 - Orientalism, Venetian Renaissance art, art after 1990. |
