Subject Description | In this subject a wide range of postwar Greek theatrical works are studied, and their relationship to earlier modes of theatrical writing and popular theatrical genres is explored. Students will also consider aspects of the production of the plays, and video recordings are used for this purpose. Students should complete the subject with the ability to analyse, interpret and discuss a range of Modern Greek theatrical works in an informed and critical manner. |
Assessment | A 1000 word assignment, and an essay of 2000 words, a 2-hour written test, and class participation. |
