Subject Description | This subject is a continuation of Vietnamese Advanced Language 1A linguistically but extends the literary period into the 18th and 19th centuries as well as considering the influence of Western civilisation. Students who complete this subject should have an appreciation of Vietnamese literature and history from the 18th and 19th centuries; and be able to understand, discuss, read about and write on, with considerable fluency, a wide range of practical and social topics. |
Assessment | An assignment of 2000 words, a book review of 1500 words, a 15-minute oral presentation, and a 3-hour examination. Students must attend at least 70% of classes to be eligible for assessment. |
