Note	This subject was previously MG1IM2: Intermediate Mod. Greek 2. Special enrolment arrangements apply. Students must contact the Faculty of Arts office for application forms and further details. Students intending to complete a major in Modern Greek are also required to take 922-102 LaTrobe-Greece & the Balkans in 20thC in semester two.

Subject Description	In this subject students learn to talk and write in Greek about a wide range of aspects of modern Greek culture and society in an informed and coherent manner, and to interpret short literary texts. Vocabulary and knowledge of grammar is systematically extended in the course of these readings and discussions.
Assessment	Regular assignments and class exercises totalling 1200 words, two 1-hour written tests, a 30-minute oral/aural test, and class participation.
