Subject Description | The subject aims to consolidate the skills acquired in VCE Portuguese. Students will continue to acquire and perfect knowledge of the language through a range of activities involving language laboratory and computer-aided exercises, practical work in small groups and pairs, and through the study of Luso-Brazilian culture and society as represented in the media, in cinema, and in representative examples of Luso-Brazilian literature. |
Assessment | A 30-minute class paper, written exercises, class participation, comprehension, production and transcription exercises, an essay of 1000 words and a 2-hour examination. |
Prescribed Texts | A subject reader and reading list will be available. |
