Subject Description

This subject emphasises the skills of speaking and listening, while also attending to the development of reading and writing skills. The student will be involved in a wide range of language acquisition activities and will be exposed to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through the written language, radio, TV and film. The subject is available only to students who have some prior knowledge of Spanish, but who do not have VCE Spanish or equivalent.

Assessment

Written work of 1250 words, oral/aural tests totalling 30 minutes and a 1.5-hour written test.
