Subject Description

The objective of this subject is to enable students to develop a managerial perspective in relation to equine enterprises, their initiation and development.

The content includes:

  • development of a managerial perspective to the development of an enterprise;

  • identification of correct professional conduct; and

  • evaluation, synthesis and analysis of enterprises through the application of skills and knowledge developed in other subjects.

Report writing and oral presentation of information are also covered.

Assessment

Internal students: to complete a business management project (100%) External students: two assignments 2500 words each (80%); oral and poster presentation (20%).
