Subject Description | This subject provides students with experience and knowledge in:
The content includes the role of revegetation in the landscape, and the relationship to land degradation, farm profitability and habitat values, seed collection methods, and the value of provenance selection, cutting and seed germination propagation methods for tree and understorey species, tubestock, seedling and direct seedling management and establishment, including the need for guarding, site preparation methods and fencing requirements, direct seeding and bare-rooted methods of plant establishment, and post establishment management of revegetation. |
Assessment | Assignments (50%); 3-hour written examination (30%); seminar (20%). |
