Subject Description | This subject provides an overview of media artworks and methodologies which have crossed or extended the conventional boundaries of industry and art. Technical skills acquired at second year will be applied to practical experiments in film, video, audio and/or computer animation. Exercises and projects will be process-focused and reflect independent research into creative concepts, methods and techniques in development, production and presentation. |
Assessment | Work equivalent to 4000 words, consisting of a 1000 word research paper and project proposal (maximum six minutes duration) and a script/plan, a tutorial presentation of practical experiments or work in progress, and a presentation of an experimental production, event or installation including documentation and an evaluative report. |
