Subject Description

Exploration of the way scientists, artists, writers, historians, geographers and others have responded to the Australian landscape at different times. The landscape as cultural expression. Development of Australian landscape practice. Issues for present landscape design practice. Ways in which landscape planning and design might better respond to the Australian cultural and natural landscape through an examination of case studies and critical analysis.

Assessment

Written and project work equivalent to 5000 words.
