Entry to this subject will be by invitation of the Head of Department, usually requiring a very high level of achievement in the prerequisites for 620-232 Mathematical Methods.

Subject Description

This subject consists of the material presented in 620-232 Mathematical Methods plus extensions material designed to provide deeper insight into the interesting areas of mathematical methods.

Assessment

Up to 48 pages of written assignments; a 3-hour written examination at the end of semester; and class tests totalling not more than 1.5 hours.
