Subject Description | On completion of this subject a student should:
Topics to be covered include introduction to computer security; issues in network and system security; physical security; inter-network security and firewalls; viruses and worms; management of computer security; auditing; risk analysis; incident handling; recovery; legal issues in computer security. |
Assessment | A mixture of continuous assessment based on assignments, mid-term and final examinations, and project work. The precise composition and weighting of assessment components will be made known at the beginning of the subject. |
