Subject Description | Upon completion of 610-225, the student should develop skills to synthesize simple organic molecules; qualitative laboratory manipulative skills; and skills to record and interpret chemical observations. The course will consist of a number of experiments involving techniques for the synthesis of important classes of organic compounds. |
Assessment | Practical work will be continuously assessed in the form of short reports. |
