Subject Description | A study of teaching and learning in health education in the secondary school. Emphasis will be placed on the health promoting schools concept and the world-wide principles of health promotion. Important aspects to be covered are the development of social and decision-making skills, development of a positive self-concept, sexuality education, nutrition education and understanding of the health care system and of community health resources. |
