Subject Description

This subject examines aspects of the social, political and economic contexts of schooling. Topics include analysis of the work, role and careers of teachers, preparation of a literature review and development of a personal philosophy of education within the context of teaching as a profession.

Assessment

Assignments totalling 4000 words, or equivalent.
