Subject Description

Topics include a critical analysis of the eclectic nature of human resource development and its potential contribution to strategic, individual and organisational performance; appraisal of the roles of education, development and training within organisations; and analyses of the inter-relationships and interdependencies between the contributions of strategic leadership, and management of learning within workplaces.

Assessment

A 2-hour examination on critical concepts of this subject (50%), and essays, assignments, and/or class presentation equivalent to 2000 words (50%).
