Subject Description

Building on material covered in the subject Theorising Social Inequality, this subject will critically examine a selection of Australian social policies in relation to debates about social justice, citizenship and social inequality.

Assessment

Submission of a one-page plan for the final assignment (mid-semester) and then submission of a paper analysing a chosen social policy, totalling not more than 4000 words. Attendance at a minimum of 75% of tutorials is a hurdle requirement for this subject.
