Subject Description

This subject examines the relationship between conflict, culture and language in a theoretical context with a view to better understanding of the causes and consequences of cross-cultural ethno-political conflict. It has also the practical aim of introducing some cross-cultural conflict resolution skills.

Assessment

Two assignments of 2000 words each. One will be based on the research literature, the other will be a practical report based on a cross-cultural conflict mapping exercise. The assessment will be completed after the teaching program finishes.
