Subject Description | In this subject major classical texts in aesthetics will be studied. The subject will confront students with the dominant ideas in different historical periods concerning art and the aesthetic, and assist them in responding to these ideas with critical awareness. |
Assessment | Written work totalling 4000 words, and regular participation in tutorials. |
