Subject Description | This subject is an introduction to the Swedish language. It focuses on spoken Swedish in everyday situations, and includes listening comprehension, pronunciation and conversation. Students will acquire skills through intensive language training in the language laboratory as well as through dialogues and other conversational exercises in the classroom. On completion of the subject students should be able to express themselves in a limited range of everyday communicative situations, and have achieved the level of competence required for admittance to 126-062 Beginners Swedish C and 126-063 Beginners Swedish D. |
Assessment | A 15-minute oral examination, listening and comprehension tests and vocabulary tests totalling 1000 words. |
