Subject Description	In this subject students will be introduced to the basic spoken language. Students should achieve the level of spoken language competency required for admittance into 126-003 Beginners German C and 126-004 Beginners German D.
Assessment	A 10-minute oral exam, and a 30-minute aural exam.
Prescribed Texts	D Dollenmayer, Neue Horizonte (Textbook and Workbook). latest edition, Heath & Co.
