Subject Description | This subject is designed to assist the language learning of students already enrolled in 116-049 Beginners Italian Part 1A. Weekly language laboratory classes will (by means of audio as well as video, music and computer activities) reinforce and improve students' understanding, use and pronunciation of Italian. A weekly lecture/seminar will introduce students to Italian culture, including literature and film. By the end of the semester students should have acquired the skills necessary to read and discuss simple literary texts. |
Assessment | Three class tests totalling 500 words, a 500 word dictation test and a 1-hour exam. |
