Subject Description | Building on Intermediate French A, this subject is designed to revise and extend students' grammatical and lexical knowledge, as well as refining oral and listening skills. On completion of the subject, students should have consolidated and built on grammatical knowledge of the main structures of French, increased their vocabulary to a moderate level of complexity, be able to communicate in French on a variety of topics, and express and defend their opinions in both spoken and written form. |
Assessment | Written work equivalent to 1200 words, an oral test equivalent to 1000 words, a listening comprehension test equivalent to 600 words, and a 1-hour written language test. |
