Subject Description | This subject is a continuation of Semester 1, with an emphasis on another Semitic language. The focus of the subject is also on detailed linguistic analysis and interpretation of selected texts and inscriptions from a wide range of literatures and especially on the literature of the language on which the class will focus. Students should complete the subject with a developed reading knowledge of the Semitic language dealt with, and a general knowledge of the grammar of the Semitic languages. |
