Subject Description | Students undertake an intensive four-week language immersion program either at the Universidad de Guadalajara (Mexico), Universidad de Havana (Cuba), Universidad de Belgrano (Buenos aires, Argentina) or the Pontifica Universidad Catolica de Chile (Santiago de Chile), either during the period June-July or the period January-February. Students will be assigned to one of three levels, beginners, intermediate or advanced, by means of a placement test. Students are responsible for travel, accommodation and tuition expenses. |
Assessment | Four 20-minute grammar tests; four 10-minute aural/oral tests; five 250 word written exercises; one 2-hour grammar and written expression exam; and one 10-minute oral exam. |
Prescribed Texts | A reading package will be assigned by the particular university according to the level of the student. |
