Subject Description | This is an advanced language which will focus on aural/oral and written language skills at an advanced level, and aspects of diverse registers of Spanish language and regional variations. Students will work with a range of audio, audio-visual and written materials drawn from cinema, television, radio and press. |
Assessment | Three oral presentations of 10-minutes each. Four 300 word practical exercises, three 20-minute laboratory exercises, a 1-hour mid-semester exam, and a 1.5-hour final exam for third year. Four 450 word practical exercises, three 30-minute laboratory exercises, a 1.5-hour mid-semester exam, and a 2-hour final exam for fourth year. Oral participation is assessed at third year. |
