Subject Description | On completion of this subject students will be able to demonstrate the ability to produce a thorough plan of a project in an area of particular relevance to their work or career (e.g. management, research or communication) which will include:
The procedure for completion of this subject will involve preparation and signing of a 'contract', setting out the objectives and methods of the project, and the targets to be met; an appropriate review of literature; oral presentation of the aims and design of the project to fellow course participants and staff, for review; preparation of a 3000-4000 word document (plan), written to a defined standard format. |
Assessment | Contract completion (timeliness and conciseness) (20%); oral presentation to course (delivery, clarity of plan and openness to ideas) (30%); report of project plan of 3000-4000 words (50%). |
