Subject Description | The objective of this subject is to enable the student to:
The content of this subject will cover the following areas: introducing GIS, maps and map analysis, textual database management, date input, verification and output, spatial objects and relationships, GIS methods, Vector GIS and Raster GIS, system review and digital elevation models. |
Assessment | Examination (30%); practical tasks (30%); two assignments (40%). |
