Subject Description

Students will develop advanced knowledge and skills pertaining to musicological methods and contemporary research practices. Areas covered will include early notation, editing, archival research, analysis, bibliographic and data management using traditional methods and electronic resources.

Assessment

Three assignments of up to 1500 words or equivalent (90%); attendance and participation in class (10%).
