Subject Description | Students will develop aural, transcription, sight-singing and keyboard skills, including:
Keyboard studies will include developmental studies and repertoire to establish skills that can be used to assist in aural skilll acquisition and to provide the basis for simple accompaniment skills. |
Assessment | Individual sight-singing and rhythm performance tests (40%); 1-hour aural comprehension examination (40%); keyboard examination (20%). Students must pass all assessment components to pass the subject. |
