Subject Description

An extension of building law giving detailed treatment of select topics of particular relevance to building and construction including: contracts and contractual disputation; insurance & professional liability; occupational health and safety; taxation; remuneration; building regulations; the law of property; litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution; and industrial relations.

Assessment

One 2-hour examination, one 2000 word assignment and a mid-semester multiple choice exam.
