Subject Description

The property industry. The valuation and analysis of investment real estate. Quantitative methods and financial analysis applied to property. The development of real estate. The regulation of land development. Feasibility/viability/sustainability studies. Residual valuation. The effect of town planning on land values. The property/business/economic cycle. Property market research.

Assessment

One 2-hour examination (50%). Assignments totalling not more than 5000 words (50%).
