Subject Description | Documentation practices, including: design development; contract documentation; detailing; specification writing; bills of quantities and coordination of consultants, contractors and authorities. Detailing of steel, concrete and timber for medium-scaled buildings. Materials selection and embodied energy. |
Assessment | Assignments (e.g. exercises, essays, class presentations), equivalent to not more than 5000 words, and one examination of up to two hours (which could take the form of a class test). Exercises may relate to work being undertaken in other subjects. |
