Subject Description | This subject introduces communication skills appropriate to architectural design, landscape design and building. A variety of skills are addressed including photographic representation, composition with computer graphics, freehand drawing, verbal presentation skills and conceptual drawing. These are taught through a series of assignments held both outdoors and in the studio, and are developed concurrently with the graphic and presentation skills required in Building Technology and Design. |
Assessment | Assessment will be based on a review of a portfolio of assignments set during the semester. (Projects, exercises and tutorial presentations, to the equivalent of 7500 words). Assignments may relate to work undertaken in other subjects. |
