Subject Description

Students will undertake in-depth research in a single area in contemporary physiology. Study will be undertaken with a researcher in the Department by mutual consent. Students should see the coordinator during the exam period to initially discuss potential research areas. Emphasis is placed on developing a strong background in hypothesis formulation and testing, data analysis and manuscript writing.

Assessment

A written report of up to 5000 words on supervised research including experimental plan, experimental work, data analysis and interpretation.
