Subject Description | This subject deals with the research design and data analysis issues in conducting clinical studies in physiotherapy. The course content covers quantitative research methodology, research design, inferential stastics and statistical computing. On completion of this subject, students should understand the aims and methods of quantitative research, and have developed skills in designing appropriate clinical research studies, using computer packages for data analysis and interpreting and reporting on the results. |
Assessment | 2-hour examination (50%). Two written assignments of no more than 2000 words each (50%) |
