Subject Description

This subject involves reading and discussion of literary and non-literary texts; advanced linguistic topics. On completion of the subject students should have read a number of Ancient Greek texts in the original, consolidating their knowledge of grammar and syntax and extending their vocabulary.

Assessment

Two hours of class tests and written work, which may comprise regular exercises totalling 2000 words for second/third year, 3000 words for fourth year.
