Subject Description

This course builds on the knowledge already acquired by students in Chinese in Chinese 2B. Students should broaden their listening comprehension and speaking skills and gain confidence and independence in handling written Chinese language materials and in making the transition from textbook material to original Chinese texts.

Assessment

A 1-hour examination, a 30-minute listening comprehension test, a 10-minute oral test, assignments and/or tests totalling 1000 words, and class participation.
