Subject Description

This is an intensive subject developing the ability to speak, read and write Indonesian. Students should learn basic vocabulary and sentence patterns enabling them to communicate at a very simple level and should have acquired basic knowledge about the Indonesian society and culture.

Assessment

Written work totalling 2000 words and a 2-hour examination. Students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination.
