Subject Description

Attention will be given to Indigenous and historical cultural heritage using a wide range of case studies including Aboriginal rock art, European homesteads, shipwrecks and Chinese gold field sites. The subject has a strong practical element and students will examine various approaches to finding and recording heritage sites, assessing site significance and preparing site conservation plans.
