Subject Description | This subject is designed with particular emphasis on further expanding the students' reading and writing skills and to extend students' oral and aural skills through discussion in Korean about a variety of social issues relevant to contemporary Korean society. Students should learn to communicate in a variety of situations using complex grammar functions and will be assessed on their conversation and aural comprehension skills. Chinese characters will continue to be taught. A wide range of audio-visual materials will be used including language slides, cassette tapes, and video cassettes. |
Assessment | Two written examinations, two 10-minute listening examinations, two 10-minute oral examinations, and class participation. |
