Subject Description

This subject involves the reading of references in English to provide the necessary background to topics studied through the language; reading of business-related texts; writing and preparation of business documentation; and training in business-related spoken language. The subject aims to develop students' intensive reading, written and oral skills through a program of specifically selected Korean media articles, supplemented by oral and written exercises. Assessment includes interaction with visitors to the class drawn from the Korean business community in Melbourne, as well as formal interviews in a business environment.

Assessment

Two 1000 word essays in Korean, two 10-minute oral presentations, and class participation.
